I wanted to take a moment to personally acknowledge and appreciate the remarkable work of one of your trainers. His exceptional training techniques, leadership skills, interpersonal abilities, and adaptability truly sets him apart in the fitness industry.

I am thrilled to nominate Tyler Durant of SMTF San Diego for the Trainer Spotlight series.

When I first started working with Tyler, I was a complete novice in the gym and I had no knowledge of how to properly use the workout machines or perform exercises with correct form. But perhaps the most remarkable transformation he facilitated was the boost in my confidence and comfort within the fitness world. Hi my name is Bryce Ward,
A little about me !!

I was born and raised in Northern Kentucky moving to San Marcos with my family. In 2017 I decided to attend Cal State San Marcos, to receive my bachelor of science in Kinesiology, which I recently obtained in 2021. After the first year into the program, I immediately knew personal training was my passion. I am fully dedicated to helping individuals with rehabilitation, wellness, and fitness goals.

My journey in fitness began when I was very young, I have been active my whole life with weight lifting and sports. I started my career very young playing in highly competitive sports such as football and baseball. I played baseball for 10 years in both high school and state select teams. My competitive drive, teamwork, and determination led to my interest in weight lifting and training because it was constantly a part of my lifestyle being coached by some of the top trainers in their field.

In the bustling city of Las Vegas, where dreams are chased and destinies forged, resides a remarkable individual who embodies the essence of transformation and tenacity. Anthony Njokuani, known for his dual roles as a dedicated personal trainer and a fearless bare-knuckle MMA fighter, recently triumphed in an epic showdown against Brandon Jenkins. The event took place on September 8th in the highly anticipated Jorge Masvidal’s Gamebred Bareknuckle MMA event, and Njokuani emerged victorious in this thrilling battle.

Born on March 1, 1980, in Enugu, Nigeria, Anthony Njokuani’s story is one of resilience and determination. His family’s immigration to the United States in 1983 brought them to Garland, Texas, where Njokuani’s journey in the martial arts world began. Starting with Tae Kwon Do at 17, he transitioned through Muay Thai and eventually embraced the world of mixed martial arts at 21. Njokuani’s younger brother, Chidi Njokuani, follows in his footsteps as a professional mixed martial artist, exemplifying the family’s shared passion for combat sports.

Njokuani’s early career witnessed success in the kickboxing arena, culminating in an undefeated record and the Kansas state Muay Thai title.
